Yeah, I have some of Impudent Mortal's stuff, got the Bar and the Pool House, though the Pool House is a vit too large really, it'd practically be a battlefield all by itself! Looking at going back and getting his set of 4 small buildings sometime...

Anyone have PlastCraft buildings painted? I just finished to assemble mine and I'm looking for some inspiration to paint them. Here is how my table is looking at the moment:

I'm afraid of use white as base for the buildings... it is very hard color to shade... how did you paint the light grey one?

I primed gray and used an airbrush to get it done quick. I used a mix of dark brown and light blue as the main color.

Do note they are very small and you really don't get a huge amount. They are better uses as base details or objective markers, then actually terrain piece like the GF9 crystals. Sadly with GF9 Crystals being rather rare and expensive there still is not alot of choices for crystal terrain. -ape2020

You could decorate one or two pieces of terrain with the secret weapon crystals to show that it has the crystal growth quality. A ruin or forest with a few small budding crystal growths would be very playable.

People might not have noticed, but Secret Weapon also now has 80mm bases!

Actual quartz and amethyst crystals are fairly inexpensive and would make really neat terrain additions. You can typically pick them up at rock shops, beading/jewelry stores, and new age stores.
Also, I have discovered that having a forested area is great for my table. I want something fancier, but for now I use these cheesy plastic palm tree cake toppers glued to one of the kickstarter base inserts. I treat it as an AOE that gives cover and protection 1, and is broken ground. It works nicely.

I thought I give a heads up the Frontline Gaming is taking Pre-Orders for some new mats and one would be perfect for Relic Knights. F.A.T. Mat High-Tech City 4x4'. And until the end of the month you get the new much improved carrying bag. I've gotten one of these mats from their kickstarter and I can say its just as nice as the RK mat. -ape2020

I have some of Mantic's Battlezones terrain and it works pretty well. http://www.manticgames.com/mantic-shop/mantic-scenery-and-terrain.htmlSo far I have 2 Urban Districts and a landing pad, though I have only assembled one urban district so far. It gave me 2 buildings, a tower, a small bunker, and a spattering of walls. Each building is roughly(W x L x H) 4" x 8" x 4", the tower is 4" x 4" x 8", and the bunker is 4" x 2" x 4". The buildings can be connected by an overhead walk way, and one of them has a covered "car port" attached to it. I think I have an 8" wall and a 12" wall plus a smattering of detritus that could be useful for making objectives and markers.

Impudent Mortal has just launched another KickStarter, with a table's worth of basic terrain for $75- a really good deal on a starting setup. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1141913215/entry-level-28mm-and-15mm-terrain-system

For some cheap terrain: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0zM7Uug4kdOdi1zNExMOGZHb0E/view?usp=sharingPrint a bunch up on colored card stock, tape/glue them together and go to town stacking. They are 2 inches high for easy determination of HT.

Major Glitch wrote: Thanks! Mind if I play around with this and repost a colored/tabbed version? Sure, go to town, the more cheap and easy terrain the better! I will admit it isn't the easiest to cut out, a tabbed version would probably be easier. Do you want it in its .ai format?
