I don't understand the question. SDE by definition IS a dungeon crawler...

I think he means something more along the lines of Masmorra or Myth. Something that builds the dungeon as you go, instead of being set up all at once.

I can't say that I haven't thought about buying Masmorra and trying to hybridize the rules...

I meant of the video game variety. Super Dungeon Tactics is a video game that will hopefully be released soon, but I got to wondering what other type of video game would be fun if based off of SDE. What came to mind was a dungeon crawler video game. The best example I can think of off the top of my head is the top-down Legend of Zelda series in a way.

I would love an SDE version of a rogue-like dungeon crawler. Just let me play cntinually until everything is dead. That would make for a sweet video game.

I kind of like the idea of rogue-lites these days. But I do agree that it would be a fun format for an SDE adaption. ^_^

I plan on making a system like this once Legends comes out. I'll find a way to randomize everything from tiles, monsters, etc. I figure the goal would be to go as many rooms as you can.

@eternaldream: Between the core game and Legends, we've certainly got just about everything one would require in terms of components. Just need a simple ruleset that gradually ratchets up the difficulty as we advance...
