This simple question came up recently and no one could agree on an answer.
The Druid has the Poison ability on his card, and successful hits with Stranglethorn cause Slow. Wouldn't they also cause Poison, since the damage is being caused by the Druid?

Followup: If the Druid equipped a Glass Hammer (which causes Fragile), would Stranglethorn then spread Slow+Poison+Fragile?
Followup-followup: If the Druid activated his Briarthorn for Backlash, would successful counterattacks spread Poison? Would they spread Poison+Fragile if he had the Glass Hammer equipped?

It's my understanding that effects stack. So if he gained the "fire" tag, then all his attacks would cause poison and fire and Stranglethorn would cause slow in addition to the other statuses.

I really am not sure about backlash though as it seemes to be a special kind of damage.

That's how I feel, but I wanted to check with other people.
Are there any "official" accounts on these boards who can say 100% one way or the other?
