I watched the QA video and as I watched it I thought about the various discussions here about the game, especially as they relate to rules. As a result I thought it would be nice to see what people are using for terrain set ups for play testing.

So here is my basic set up. Specific arrangements can vary but for ease of set down and pick up this is what I'm currently using for testing. The buildings are 2 sets of Corvus Belli's Neon Lotus terrain. I consider this to be a bit on the terrain dense side for Relic Knights.

I would love to see other people's terrain set ups!

I like the terrain setup you have there. Mostly with our game I've been using the rk boxes as makeshift terrain. I don't have room at my home to house extra plastic or resin terrain. So the cardboard setup like yours would be ideal. I'll look it up, but what's the going rate on that stuff?

It looks like $10-12/set, so about $20 for what Obsidian-Crane uses. I've got a similar set (without walkways, sadly) from the same company (it's by Corvus Belli, makers of Infinity). It's good stuff, but light, so I suggest using some poster putty to secure it during gameplay. (The set I have is designed to fit over the Inifity starter boxes for extra weight, but I don't have those...)

You can get by with 1 set for RK as well, but I'd recommend some barriers/hedges to break up LoS some more though. You can make hedges by cutting green scouring pads (cleaning supplies) into 1" or 2" strips and sticking them together (pva glue).

After some issues with space for model positioning, especially with the larger based RKs and Noh models I rearranged the terrain.

This pic is from an SSP vs Doctrine game just after deployment:

I'd still love to see more of other people's set ups!

This week's set up:

Surely someone else can share a pic or two of their terrain set ups?

Next time I get a game in, I'll get some pictures. Won't be as fancy as your setup though, that's for sure.

This is the terrain I use when I go to Sakura Con. I've been adding more and more each year.

Of course this was before the new rules eliminated the dashboards.

Ooh I like those barricades!

This is my current set up, which seems to be getting close to what you were using in those demos Pitstarter:

We had to take some of my neon scatter terrain barricades off, the table was looking a bit busy. The picture is after we took the extra stuff away.
