This really makes me want to get an airbrush. I'm still not going to - it's just too much effort - but dammit, those minis are gorgeous. The color shifts and blends are so clean! And I don't want to think about how long it took to put those killer green dots on the little eggs.

Man, that is some amazing work.

Airbrush is indeed helping a lot, but it's also a pretty hard tool to use, i'm not very skilled with it.
It just helps me to put the base layer on the miniature, and start layering.

There is a lot of brushwork/glazes/wet blending on these minis to achieve this result (i think it's easily 50% of the work).
