I live in Arkansas, precise location not to be revealed at this time.

I notice a lot of SDE talk in the UK, and there doesn't really seem to be any sort of Ninja Division following, specifically SDE in my area. Anyway people in Arkansas could sound off, and maybe we could work something out?

Does anyone have any experience playing through Roll20, or anything? I just want to play, and my town is rather small, so I'm having a hard time getting it off the ground around here.

Thank you for your time! Have a nice day.

I'd play with you, but I am in Ohio. I have found that places that sell/play board games are a good way to get exposure. I have a Barnes and Nobles that has a board game night. I introduced a bunch of people into the game that way. Good luck!

I just live in a small town, so I was looking for people that were within reasonable distances, (like, maybe 2 hours) to get together with every so often.

I am planning to go to a local convention in March and have some SDE demos, and try to generate the interest. Thanks for the reply! I had a good group to play with when I lived in Utah, but I had to move, because my father's health.

I'll go to my local Books-a-million, and see if they do anything, though. That is a good idea. Our one game store in this town is really lame, and whenever I take SDE up there, everyone is always busy playing something else, or not interested in giving it some time.

I'm optimistic. Things can only go up!!

I know how you feel. My small town doesn't even have a game store. The one in the next town over doesn't carry SDE and they only play Warhammer there. The gamers there are pretty close minded about playing anything with Chibi minis (they think chibis are for girls and little kids). The closest gaming conventions ever come to me are about a four hour drive. I try to play with my wife and kids. My wife is a very busy school teacher (most days I don't see her until about supper time and then after supper she grades her students papers), and the game is too long for my young kids. I can play arcade by myself, but it would be much more fun with others.

Don't give up. It may take some time, but I am sure if you keep trying that eventually you will find other gamers that will love the game and the minis. The convention will probably be your best bet as it will pull in people from a larger area. Good luck.

I a pretty sure that the guy who runs the SDE Discord server is from Arkansas. Check him out on the general discussion page.
