Okay, lets try this again. Between Photobucket drinking Stupid-A-Tea and removing their free image hosting, and my past thread getting eaten/deleted, its about time to make a new thread.

I'll try and update this as I can.

Heroes of Super Dungeon Explore!

Arena Champion! Loosely based on D.va from Overwatch.

Image
Ninja Cola. He's so tiny!

Pumpkin Patch Spawn Point.

Spawn Point.

Its a skull! Its a bat! Its a skullbat!

Spiders!

The leading ladies of the spawnpoint.

Claw Shrine Spawn Point
Image
To try and remember the Crystal Affinity for the spawn points, any crystaline parts of a spawner mini is painted in the appropriate color, hence the citrine crystal eyes.

Image
Drake Hounds. I was inspired by Aella13's painting of Nocturn, with the splashes of gore everywhere, and tried to imitate it, with not as much success as her. Maybe a gloss seal over just the red...

Image
Claw Trainers. Whip it good.

Image
The cloaks on these guys make them look so dynamic!

Minibosses and Bosses of Super Dungeon Explore!

Minibosses!

Image
Ser Sharpclaw. To try and add some personality to him I added the shiny notches to his lance on the side, an inidcaction of how many Heroes he's killed. Kobolds cant count very well, but its easy to remember to scratch a lance every time a Hero falls, and run a paw over the marks for luck.

Bosses!

Image
Beatrix is my first attempt at painting freckles, and I'm a little leery on how they looked.

Thanks! I had an old paint thread a long time ago, but all the photos were terrible
So on my vacation, im reshooting everything, and making a new thread for them, and for all the stuff that never made it there.

Like this fine fellow.

Goro is so far my favorite boss I've ever painted. I made the giri head he's holding, as well as the leek and giri arm at his feet.
The blood on him turned out so much better then on my Claw Shrine.

It looks like there's something on the bottom of all your bases?

I like the creative changes you've made! I have a hard time painting differently from the card art and it usually only happens by mistake or when I am unable to match the color.

This is surely a magnet that we see on the bottom, to be able to put it on a metal plate to transport it.

Thanks!

If a Hero is named on their card, I'll try to match the paint to the card art, like Candy, or Cola.
But its not a hard-and-fast rule. Right now I've got Princess Ruby under the brush and while she's inspired by the colors on her card, I'm not sticking exactly to it. I did the same thing with Princess Emerald.

Im also a sucker for making nods to other media with choice of colors, like the Arena Champion as D.va

That's correct! Right now my Rail Raiders are sticking to the side of a metal cookie tin I keep for WIP's

cool, magnets! where do you get these? Or is this like the cookie sheet of magnet you must cut out yourself. I have my unpainted minis in Tupperware, but magnets sounds a lot better for painted minis so they don't slide around.

You can buy rolled up strips of magnets at Walmart. I think its called 'Magnet Tape' or something.
At least thats where I get mine

Suddenly, there were ninjas!

Image
Shrine Kiken. The dots on the headbands are to tell them apart.
Image
Shrine Yajiri. Same deal with the dots on the headbands
Image
Shrine Kunoichi. One has a scratched headband. The other is more careful with her things.
Image
Shrine Madoshi. His scarf was made by his ma.
Image
Shrine Chunin. Secretly has a sweet tooth.

New Hero up!

Image
Princess Ruby!

I tried Aella11's technique for eyes and loved it.

The castle corner Ruby's in is a little practice piece I did when I first got my Hirst Art molds, and I think its nicer to look at then the blank white background.
