Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but is there any way we could get a thread with a list of sites that have terrain that is compatible with SDE? or accessories? Chests, tables, trees, buildings, etc, in chibi style that would work thematicially?

I have seen some cartoony kronomaster (i think trees) which I seem to be unable to acquire. Not sure what else is out there?

Would love to find some chibi houses and other stuff! HALP!

thank you :)

I've seen a couple homemade dungeons made out of Hirst Arts tiles. You can check them out here: http://hirstarts.com/

It takes quite a bit of work and patience, but they look fantastic.

Yeah I do not think there's any place to buy chibi terrain. Most everyone I know of has made their terrain. The one exception was a few people who bught into a kickstarter a while back for 3d dungeon tiles, but that was a one time thing and I do not 5think the guy makes them anymore. Personally I'd either look into various terrain makers for commission...which would be hella expensive...or make the terrain yourself. As eternaldream said, Hirst Arts is a great source for some molds from which to make your own dungeons.

Impact minis do a Chibi castle and a Chibi house sculpted by two talented guys on these very forums, nkelsch and mini art. i also remember seeing a link to a European website which had houses that would be perfect for chibis, I'll try and find the link- I think they were called "bird houses" and were reasonably priced.

So figure painters.net (Tyson I think) who made the casted hirst dungeons has potion sets and some other skull/treasure pile accessories on his site. Thinking about picking those up!

Kronomaster (I think) the game came with some chibi looking trees and chests/boxes (cartoony oversized) but no luck on finding them for any decent price. They look great though. May sculpt some up similar myself instead.

I have a foam dungeon built currently just wants to spruce it up! I have a bunch of hirst dungeon accessories from a friend but they are not chibi styles so hesitant to use them in future projects!

I like nkelsh's fort but can't ever find the thing in stock lol (actually have been following him for years starting on Dakkadakka)

Mini's house is GREAT! Waiting on impact to list it for sale.

I remember seeing the bird houses and couldn't find a link!! Thanks for reminding me!! There has to be a link around here lol.

Thanks for the replies all! c:

I've got a resin watermill and house that roughly fit the more cartoony feel needed, I expect they are available from various suppliers:

Duck Town Watermill: http://fenrisgames.com/shop#!/FGDKT01-D ... ry=9064223
Engineer's Cottage: http://fenrisgames.com/shop#!/FGTW03-En ... ry=5557005

If I get a minute next week I'll take a photo of them next to some SDE miniatures for scale. Armorcast also have some quite fun steam terrain in their collection that might work as Clockwork Cove terrain:

Steam Buddha: http://www.armorcast.com/steampunk-terr ... eam-buddha
Steam Mushroom: http://www.armorcast.com/steampunk-terr ... m-mushroom
Mushroom Observatory: http://www.armorcast.com/steampunk-terr ... bservatory

I've got the two mushroom pieces somewhere so again will try and do pics next week (although they are not assembled, but I can stack them for a photo). One other thing that can work well are the more "solid" model railway trees - like these http://modelshop.co.uk/Shop/Landscaping ... en/ITM6381, if you get the smaller ones and spray paint them funkier colours they look quite cartoony. i expect there are other "cheap" trees on the market that would work. Seems like most model trees have actually started looking a bit too much like trees for use with Chibi figures! Actually I wonder if the older Lego trees (http://lego.brickinstructions.com/en/le ... nd_Flowers) would work, just a random thought...

I also know Flytrap Factory do a pirate ship for their anthropomorphic mice: http://www.flytrapfactory.com/shop-netherworlds.html no idea about the scale on that however, but looks quite cute.

As promised photos to give you an idea of scale for the terrain pieces I mentioned:

It's a 5mm grid on the cutting mat I think BTW. Links for the items are in my previous post.

Just so links are all in one place for people to find, I note that Acheson Creations now have quite a decent sized range of quirky buildings and crystals in their Fantasy range. Some might fit in quite well to the SDE world. No idea how well they scale however.

Interesting!

I am also into making my own tiles in the near future - and it's good top see the style characteristics!

Thanks! =)

Keeping to my habit of necroposting on this thread. https://dicey-ventures.myshopify.com/co ... al-village look to fit the part for SDE style buildings.
