Here are some of my painted Miniatures.

With some of the minis I had some problems with paint that did not want to stick on the primed surface.
Did anyone have similar problems with the plastic miniatures from soda pop?

Nice work, Boro!

By the way, I moved the thread into the SDE forum instead of it being the R.K. forum. Keep it up and keep sharing!

Nice work. I like the clear base idea too!

The clear bases are a very nice touch. What did you use to glue the model to the base?

Thanks guys.

I used a common super glue for glueing the minis to the clear acrylic bases. The hard part was to remove the old base first.

Did you notice any issue with frosting? I've found superglue to have a nasty habit of frosting clear acrylic, which is why I asked abouit your choice of glue.

@Topher

yes, there is some frosting. But it is minimal. If you apply the glue carefully and hold the pieces together tight when glueing, you wont notice anything later. And even if you spill some of the glue on the base, if you clean it up quickly with some papertowel and maybe clean again with a little bit of spiritus, you will prevent most of the damage.
You could also pin your models and only put a tiny bit of super glue on the pin. This would probalby be even more clean. With two pins in both feet you could maybe even go without glue at all. I havn't tried this yet.

Thanks for your response Boro. I'm going to give it a shot with some Arcadia Quest ghosts. The floating base look seems very appropriate for ethereal models.

@Guyon

Thanks. :-)

@Topher

Glad if I could help. Let me know how your ghosts turn out.

Will do, but don't expect too high a standard. Your painting skills are clearly more leveled up than mine :oops:
