I try to stay away from the Kickstarter comments, but someone posted this link to an instagram page.

It looks like a new Kobold model, kind of a cross between a gouger and knucklehead. I wonder where he fits into everything? New masterclass? Kobold adventurer hero?

The thin details of the arrows and grass/leaves make it unlikely to be SDE scale, it's probably a statue, either for general release or maybe the golden kobold.

I was thinking that it could be a resin release (since those details could cast in resin). But it would also work as a larger statue.

I saw this too, OP. Was really curious why this person is sculpting for SPM apparently. The sculpt looks great.. But the base needs to be the classic flagstone base. You'll always hear that from me! lol

Maybe this is part of the help that John recently requested from the chibi community. Maybe trying to make products on the side as a way to continue to hold everyone over until the KS drops... Who knows, just wild speculation.

for a plastic, it's pretty bad.. arrows aren't that good for casting.
For resin, it's pretty stupid. generic grunt as a resin special isn't good.
for design, it's so-so.. base doesn't work at all, as it's not a SDE base design, logo and images used in preview pictures are also totally out there when it comes to being old. and like said, it's not in line with kobold figures that have been released.. it's not only a mixture between two types, but.. it's stuck in deep mud (look at the legs.. the bottom halves aren't there)…
for 3d modelling, I would say some skill.. I don't have any programs that do 'digital clay' sculpting.. I'm a Computer guy which is why my models are mostly lower polycounts. I design in vertex points and faces.. digital clay does make things much easier then designing in that way so a bit of a cheat, but still skilled enough.

also.. where have I see that before? I have 100% seen that design with the arrows and everything before.. but where... mm

This was a test sculpt, not intended for any release.
