 Adjusting rules to speed game up.

Here's the basic fact, the game is too slow in 2.0. I would use 1e rules but I want to move forward instead of using archived rules.

So I'm looking for ideas on house rules to get the game to 1 hour at 50pt. I have all the armies, obviously I don't have the RK2 KS yet.

Make the scenarios automatically score or use the 1e scenarios instead of flipping for points, that'll speed it up some I think.

Also, you could always play to a lower victory point count, lower it a few points and make it more manageable.

Ender101 has the right idea; please still submit any gameplay reports you're able to, with a big disclaimer that you chose to play to fewer points and/or change the scoring method.

And you could always just play to the clock - which could actually be very useful to test and report; if you know you're on a clock, how does the combat/objective choice weight change? This will be good for SPM to consider, since tournaments will need to play on time limits regardless of any other changes made...

What do you think is slowing the 2.0 game down at 50 points vs your 1.0 games at 50 points?

the scenario is more simply
token of scenario are more safe (not drop in case of damage)
no guard and new activation system : more deadly.
no stat in addition for minion... more simply action
few actions (end of esper action, end of strange effect like redirect)
the speed of the game are boost with all of that.

i'm afraid this new activation and squad change the game in little massacre, very brutal... i try it and i report to you
