So, do you have original character ideas you think would fit in the Relic Knights universe? Well, post your ideas here. Keep in mind, this is just a little fan thing for fun, not to be a real serious idea. So, post pictures of your characters, make up some stats, and have fun.

Here's a few of my original character I made some stats for...

Weapon Master Carmilla
Prismatic Questing Knight

Darkspace alternate model: Sarah Kerrigan cosplay (StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, Void Aligned)

One of the few succubi weapon masters, Carmilla is a rare breed. Spending most of her 180 years worth of her life learning the art of the weapon masters, she is trained in the use of any and all bladed weapons, and can even materialize them, forming them into a deadly whirlwind of blades. It is even said she was the inspiration to the literary vampire of the same name. Despite her obvious tomboy nature, she maintains an air of refinement and lady like grace. She has recently taken on a cat familiar, who she affectionately calls Alucard.

Currently she is in a contract with a demon hunter named Cyris. The terms of the contract are of her lending power to Cyris, and in exchange, she feeds from his spiritual energy when she needs it. However, Cyris' conditions of said contract has left her frustrated. But she hopes that someday his willpower will crack, and he will give in to her seductive nature.

And she prays that no one discovers her terrible secret...

Darkspace alternate model: Dante cosplay (DMC: Devil May Cry, Void Aligned)

Cyris was formerly of the Battle Exorcist order. However, when his only sister was captured by demons, and the order refused to authorize a rescue mission, he went AWOL to save her. But, his mission nearly ended when a surprise ambush by several demons left him dear death. It was then that a succubus named Carmilla came to him. Her offer was simple. She will save his life and lend him her power to save his sister, and in exchange, she will feed from his spiritual energy when she wishes. On the verge of death, he accepted her contract, on the condition that she only feed from him in the manner of his choosing.

After saving his sister, he now finds that Carmilla will not break the contract with him. Of course, given that he only offers her his blood tends to frustrate this creature of lust, and she will not rest until she has him, body and soul. But, so long as the contract remains, they are bound together and cannot act against each other. Now working as freelance demon hunters, they find themselves drawn into another world's conflict. Will their intervention prevent the Darkspace Calamity? Only time will tell.

Burdened with guilt her whole life with the knowledge that her father was one of the most wanted criminals ever known, Lilith has spent most of her life training to kill him. This path she took eventually lead her to the career as a part time bounty hunter, gaining notoriety as being very savage in her captures, some even loosing limbs when she captured them. Of course, her ultimate goal was the capture of her father, and to make him suffer for what he had done to her mother. However, by the time she found him, he was already dead. For a whole year, she has tried to come to try to terms with the fact that her quest for revenge has come to an abrupt end without the conclusion she desperately wanted.

Now, thrust into a universe that is not her own, she finds herself thrown into a conflict to decide it's fate. And with the demonic blood of the Sevian race flowing in her veins, few trust her, thinking her a member of the Noa Empire. But, her sense of justice cannot be denied, regardless of her methods. And heaven help those who would dare cross her.

Donavon didn't know much about his family, being raised by The Doctrine most of his life. He always knew something was... unusual about him. Upon turning 16, he found out the truth. His father was a vampire, and his mother was a human. Upon turning 18, he left The Doctrine in order to find out more about his family. Unfortunately, all he found was a hostile universe. Because of his dark heritage, he was hunted by both the Shattered Sword Paladins, and the Black Diamond. In a surprise attack, he lost both his arms, forcing him to gain cybernetic replacements. Four years after leaving the Doctrine, he now works as part of Malya's pit crew, trying to keep a low profile and his past a secret, that is until the Darkspace Calamity forced him to fight once again.

Donavon has strong feelings for Malya, but doesn't act on them, fearing she would never be able to love a "monster" like him, and deserving better. Instead, he keeps his emotions for her suppressed and hidden. But Rin suspects something, and sooner or later, both of Donavon's secrets will be out in the open.

Known only as "The Phantom", this mysterious entity has appeared on Cerci Prime recently, and has made a impact. The Phantom is no racer, but his appearance has prevented several incidents that would have otherwise sabatoge races. He also seems to be infatuated with Princess Malya, who he once personally rescued from a Black Diamond attack. Despite his numorous apperances, and obtaining a Cypher and Relic, no one knows who The Phantom is. His face is always hidden by a mask or helmet, and his voice is also digitaly masked.

The only one who seems to know anything about The Phantom is Donavin, a member of Malya's pit crew. He says that on some nights, in some dark corner, you can hear The Phantom's music playing. A haunting melody of sorrow over the monster he is.

Well, it not really too difficult if you have a good concept. Look over some of the existing skills, and use them as a guide to create your own.

Tootsie Roswell is the head of research and development at Alejandra's Dairy, and acts as Alejandra’s trusted personal assistant. The financial resources Tootsie’s earned at her position have allowed others to gaze into the complex and dangerously frivolous imagination of this mouse, as she has created things that border outside-the-box invention and mad-scientist superweapon. Tootsie’s reasoning for why she augments the mundane into the monolithic causes her co-workers to question her sanity and moral compass, but she has contributed many grand designs to Alejandra’s intellectual property over the years, making her immune to the consequences of her actions.

In a freak accident, she now finds herself in the middle of the Darkspace Calamity, in a galaxy that is not her own. Although working on a way to return home, she's in no real hurry, now that she has a reason to use all those destructive devices she's been building all these years (epecialy her giant mech, "Big Cheese"). And the fact that she's recently been paired with an Cypher just as crazy as she is isn't helping matters.

NB-1 Prototype: Ein

Leader of a small group of rouge Necroborgs, Ein is desperate to take revenge on the necromancer who turned them into undead. It's unclear how the ended up in this galaxy, but they're willing to fight to stop the Darkspace Calamity. Ein knows their former "master" will be looking for them, along with his army of undead and demons, and knows that they will use the Darkspace Calamity to further his own goals. So to stop the Darkspace Calamity is to prevent his master from using it for his own means.

Ein's arms and legs have been replaced with high end cybernetics, his heart replaced with a power core, and his eyes have been enhanced with top of the line optics.

Zwei was an elf a long time ago. Succumbing to the poison of a black dragon swamp, a necromancer found her, and turned her into a stealth assassin. The poison that killed her saturated her body, making her blood toxic. After her liberation, she joins Ein and her other liberated Necroborgs in fighting their former "master", and a way to return to the world of the living.

Zwei is the least cyberneticly enhanced of her necroborg kin, with only her arms and legs having been replaced due to toxic burns. If not for her slightly greenish pale skin, she could pass for a normal cyborg. Her suit contains a high end cloaking device that renders her practically invisible.

The most highly cyberneticly enhanced of the necroborg rebels, Drei's lower torso has been totally replaced with cybernetic legs, which can split apart to allow quadruped movement for better aiming and stability. Unlike his fellow rebels, Drei has absolutely no memories of when he was alive, but has an affinity shock and awe tactics.

Vier was a ninja in her former life. Now as a necroborg, she has become an ace sniper and recon unit. Her left eye replaced with a high end sensor unit that can detect cloaked units and tag them. Much like her fellow rebels, she has no intent to become a pawn to a necromancer who's desire for power can threaten all of existence. Upon having their slave chips removed, they escaped their former "master", and now are working to help other.

((As to this... "Master", I have plans for a whole Necroborg faction.))

And a little bit of story I have done so far!

“So Clare tell me about your self.” Malya said picking up her drink and taking a sip.

“Not much to tell Princess.” Clare said with a shrug

“If you want a job with me you better make some stuff up then. I don't just hire people with out knowing anything about them!” Malya said in a playful tone but was all business in her eyes.

“Don't get your panties in a bunch I am just saying it isn't some exciting story is all. I was orphaned at the age of 6. I was sent to a foster home and I was the youngest of the 7 girls there. The home was run by Maria and Hilda Claymore. Mira liked to work on anything with an engine and she owned her own shop. I didn't like being in the house with all the others so I went to Maria's shop when ever I could and learned from her. Eventually I was old enough to move out on my own and I started to work for what ever race team that would pay the best. So I am always on the look out for the highest paying job and right now that is you Princess.” Clare said sounding board.

“So I am just a paycheck to you then?” Malya asked.

“Are you telling me I am more than a mechanic to you?” Clare shot back.

“Touche!” Malya said as she smiled. “Well I like how you talk to me, no nonsense and blunt. Your skills are amazing and rest assured I will always pay the best for the best. Anyone offers you more and I will double it.” Malya said grinning now.

“Sounds like we have a deal then.” Clare said with a faint smile on her face sticking out her hand. Malya took Clare's hand in her own and shook it.

“Well I have another engagement tonight I will catch you at the garage on Monday!” Malya said as she stood and dropped some money on the table for the drinks. “Bye” she called back with a wave.

“Bye” Clare said taking a drink of her beer. I can't believe I just landed a job on her team! I will get to see her hot !SODA! in a race suit everyday.......I so scored with this gig! I can totally buy that old racer now and get to fixing her up! Clare was jarred from her thoughts when she felt a warm thud against her side. “Don't worry I haven't forgotten about you Jean I promise we will go and get that collar you want. Yes the pink one with the energy crystals.” Clare said to the pit bull by her side. Clare put her arm around the cypher and held her close as she finished her beer.


Clare stopped in her tracks when she saw Malya as she was entering the garage on Monday. Clare had been there for about an hour already but she remembered a tool she forgot in her truck earlier, and had gone to get it. Upon her return she saw Malya just starring up at her racer, almost like she was having a conversation with it. Not wanting to disturb her or to lose out on a chance to observe Malya while she was unaware, Clare stood just inside the doorway. She looks so peaceful and so beautiful..........wait! What am I thinking! I can't be having thoughts like this about her!

They were both so lost in their own worlds that both jumped about 3 feet into the air when Jean head butted Clare's hand and cause her to drop the spanner she had retrieved from her truck.

“What are you doing here so early?” Malya asked as she walked to stand by Clare.
“I could ask you the same thing. Don't all of you racers sleep until noon? Especially a Princess like you?” Clare shot back trying not to let on how flustered she was.

“Sometimes I like to have a quite moment with my Sedaris. Just something I do from time to time. See that wasn't so hard now was it?” Malya asked the last part playfully.

“I was getting acquainted with your Sedaris a good mechanic knows how to fix a racer, but a great mechanic knows everything about a racer and fixes things before they become a problem.” Clare said simply.

“Did you discover anything interesting? Malya asked.

“That you grip harder with your right hand vs. your left hand.” Clare said pulling out the most interesting thing to her, trying not to think about the fact that is said more about the rider rather than the racer.......and about where her mind was vs. where it should be.

“Oh really? I never noticed.” Malya said looking at her hands. Jean bumped into Clare again gesturing at Malya.

“I didn't introduce you when we had drinks but this is Jean, she goes with me everywhere.” Clare said kinda challenging Malya. Jean was sitting pretty at her side.

“She is adorable! And I love her pretty pink collar! Oh ad this is Mr. Tomm!” Malya said gesturing to the bunny who was bouncing up and down at her side.

“Very cute.” was all Clare managed to say.

“Well I suppose I should let you get back to it then.......” Malya said lingering off at the end almost as if she hoped Clare would stay and talk to her some more.

“Oh you're right.” Clare said bending down and picking up the spanner and walking towards the racer. She seemed dazed for a moment almost as if Malya had cast a spell on her.

Those silver eyes......they are so deep but I can't fathom anything in them........and her hair is so white.....she is so pretty.....Oh wait what am I thinking? Malya thought shaking her head trying to dislodge those thoughts. But you know she does have a very pretty faint smile.........

Nice to see I'm not the only one contributing to this. I wonder if card templates will show up soon so we can really flesh these profiles out.

Also, I've been planning to make some custom miniatures of Lilith and Carmilla, and have three other fan custom jobs I'm working on that I'm tempted to make profiles for (one of which is MLP:FIM related). I'll update the fan profiles with the miniature pictures when they're done.

In the mean time, I'm working on my undead faction, the Necroborg Army. It's mostly going to be minion based, with the only unique model being the Relic Knight/Questing Knight that goes with it.

Mine will prolly be all adding to the factions I play which are Cerci and Noh. I plan on using some of the duplicates I am getting to create the minis so I could play them. I hope to get my hands on Kisa's Relic as that should work really well for my addition to the Noh that I need just a little more inspiration for.

What I love about fan additions is that they can go in any direction! You have the Phantom in Cerci and I have Clare who are both wishing for Malya's attention (though Clare hasn't acknowledged that yet) And it is really cool to seeing different people's take on things.

Also I wanted to give the Cerci a more hard hitting option and I hope that I have done that.

I think that might be a good idea giving the unaligned a Prismatic or Void association. I don't know if there will be true unaligned characters in RKs it just seems like they would be at least one or the other.

I also wanted to take my fan fiction into the lady loving side of things since I am fairly sure that won't happen any other way. I figure someone who could protect Malya even when she doesn't think she needs it would be a good fit for her.

I have an idea for a new mechanic that I'll be introducing in my next fan character profiles. It's called "Esper Corruption". Here's how it works (from what I thought up so far). The character starts out as a Prismatic, but can hold void cards much like one can hold esper normally. Of course, being void cards, these are stuck with the character until they hold a total of 3 or more. Once reached, you can choose to discard your entire hand, and all the the model's held esper, to turn them into their Void counterpart. I also have an idea for a reverse called "Esper Purification", using wild cards instead of void cards to turn a Void character into their Prismatic version.

Of course, this means that the two versions need to be different from each other to warrant changing the character mid game. And since I have an idea already for such a pair of characters, I hope to show this soon.

With Darkspace drawing ever closer, other worlds seem to have been drawn into the conflict as well. One of these parallel dimensions is the world of Equestria. From there, one of their Princesses has found herself in the conflict. Ruler of the night and moon, Princess Luna.

Despite her caring and shy nature, something dark sleeps within Princess Luna. And the longer she is exposed to the void, the stronger the feared "Mare in the Moon" will become. And heaven help you should Nightmare Moon be unleashed.



((By the way, if you really want to try them out, I do find that My Little Pony blind bag figures are more or less to scale with Relic Knights miniatures (although I have yet to see how the Princess blind bag figures would work, being how rare they are). However, I do have custom miniatures I've been making of both characters (in human versions), hence why I decided to make some profiles for them.))

I do think the profiles are 2 close to each other one should be all about physic attacks and the other should be about melee or something like that to really make them different from each other. This is a lot like Malifaux Avatars and the ones I like best are the ones who do that. They take a spell caster and make them a beat down melee person.

It might be weird to make some stats based off an internet celebrity, but there is an Angry Joe miniature coming out, with Angry Joe saying one could use it for other games, so I created these stats for the Angry Joe forums, and now I'll share them with you guys.
