And those 3-4 months would be full of a large queue of models bought during the other 8 which would cut into my golf time. Sigh, never going to get one until I retire and move somewhere warm again (grew up in Hawaii). Of course, by then I probably will have lost the talent to paint well even with an airbrush, lol.

I probably should have some better venting but to do some airbrushing I basically put down some newspaper on my table and just spray there. Airbrushing isn't the same as using spray cans since you don't have the nasty propellant gasses to deal with just air and paint which hopefully you aren't spraying at your face.

You can get a fairly cheap spray booth that can vent out an open window. I've sprayed in the winter by opening the window just enough to fit the vent and plugging the rest of the opening. Or barring that, spray in short (<30 minute) chunks.
