I've been working hard on cleaning and assembling models but I also want to get a couple of starter sets painted so my paladins were treated to some paint.

I really like how you used their emblem as a base insert. What size did you have those printed out at to fit so snug??

How did you build up to and get such an awesome white for your armor?

23, 32, 41, and 64mm is where I ended up with my printouts.

I painted light gray then used just a little thinned white as my final highlight. Not everything is pure white either. Much of the armor was painted as pale blue with a purple/blue mixed wash and the same white highlight. If it was all neutral white I don't think they would be nearly as interesting visually.

I agree, this a great work with the white and the capes. Those bases - what a great effect for simple idea.

Great shading on the beak too!
