Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has any pointers when it comes to painting flesh on the models which captures the "anime" feel.

I've been working on the Chun-Li looking model and I pretty much ruined the flesh-tone [and I hope to have pictures up tonight when it's finished]. I've been working with:

Tallarn Flesh - as a base colour
Friekland something fleshtone - wash
50/50 of Tallarn Flesh and Ryn [pp] Flesh - as a mid tone
Ryn Flesh - as highlight

What I've come to conclude is that the mixture doesn't look right/work. In the future I am going to experiment just using Ryn Flesh and the fleshtone wash in several layers to see what happens.

Any suggestions?

I've been using tallarn flesh (GW) as base, then wash with army painter soft tone shade, then layer tallarn flesh and gradually mix in more and more elf flesh (vintage GW) until the final layer is pure elf flesh.
