Too much great work here to pick out individual minis. You have many fine forces.

The first (ish) of the Cerci Speed Circuit off the line is Betty. I'm very happy with how the freehand came out.

That's a really original take on Betty! The freehand is really sharp. Great job.

I'm happy with how both of them came out, and now I just need to paint up a knight so I can field them.

It's been a long time since I painted anything for Relic Knights - low support for the game and few people to play with greatly reduce motivation - but I finished up Darkspace Hasami today. The miniature is in the new resin material, which I think is produced by Prodos Games. It's definitely superior to the PVC from before, but is not without its faults. I painted the majority of the miniature at ReaperCon 2016 back in October, using the limited edition MSP Ghostly Moss. Other dominant colors are P3 Coal Black, MSP Clear Magenta, VGC Purple Ink and MSP Olive Skin Triad. A special shout-out to my friend Adrift, who suggested the MSP Clear Magenta (he described it as Victoria's Secret Pink) for her panties which looked so great I used it in a bunch of other spots as well. I had a fun time getting a nice smooth blend on the scissors, but am not usually interested in spending that much time on minis.

The first of the new resin minis that I got my hands on, Princess Malya is a beautiful sculpt and fun to paint. I agonized over the last little bit, and between never getting to play Relic Knights and her rules being garbage, she slept on the shelf of shame, waiting for her Prince Charming to show up. I finally finished her off last month, so she can join Mr. Tomm, who's been done for a year now.

In case the inspiration isn't obvious, I've based her paint job on Alice from Disney's Alice in Wonderland. The base is one of my favorite parts, and I love how it came out - you can even see a bit of reflection in some shots. I definitely got fed up with the dress at points, and just had to leave it in order to move on, but overall am fairly happy. The white in particular, I probably could have redone it using some of the tips from Jen Greenwald's class that I took last year.
