If one unit is engaged with 2 or more other units, is it 1 Flip to disengage from all of the units or 1 Flip for each unit?

Eg Mamaro To and some Hounds are engaged with Bang Bang, does Bang Bang Flip 1 to get away from both or Flip 1 for Mamaro, then Flip another for the Hounds and thus potentially get caught engaged with 1 of the attacking units?

For further consideration, how does that work if a squad is in a line, and gets engaged on both sides. Engagement rules require all models in the squad to move into engagement, but with two possibilities (and a flip) do they (a) break engagement for free on one to move into engagement with the other, (b) move unengaged models toward the nearest engaged enemy unit, even if that means the squad will be broken, or (c) failing a flip, become frozen in place since you cannot voluntarily break a squad and thus cannot fulfill the requirement to move into an engagement zone?
